Using the “X” button in the top-right hand corner.

Figure 66 - Close Window Button
Any other logout action other than the ones mentioned above will be considered as an improper logout, for example, if the network connection is lost. For these situations, it is likely that Login Alerts will appear the next time users try to log in to the CIX Markets system.
Refer to section 3.3 for further details.
LOGIN OVERRIDE
IMPROPER LOGOUT
If users did not logout of the system properly during the previous session, a warning message will appear, notifying users of the situation and prompt users to re-enter their passwords to confirm the login.

To avoid this situation and to ensure the safety of the account, it is strongly recommended that users should always perform the logout procedure properly.
Please refer to section 3.3.2 for further details on the Login Override.
LOGIN OVERRIDE
If there has been an improper logout, users will need to re-enter the password to override the previous login session in order to log in properly.

Figure 68 - Login Override
For a login override:
- Check the “Override” checkbox to override the last session.
- Ensure the login information is entered.
- Click the “Login” button.
However, if an override message pops up when a user is using the CIX Markets system, it means another party has logged in using the user’s account information, and therefore terminating the current login session.

Figure 69 - Invalid User Session
Note: Such a situation is possible with a shared account, however, if this happens to a personal account, where no other person other than the account owner should have account access, then it is important for the user to contact his/her account provider or customer service agent immediately to understand the situation and to ensure the safety of the user’s personal account.
AGENT LOGGED IN
Accounts can be logged in to by both clients and agents. If a client has given authority and the password for their account to an agent, the agent can log in to a client’s account from the agent account.
In the situation where an agent is already logged in to the account of a client and the client also tries to log in to the same account, a login message pops up to inform the client that the agent is already logged in to the account.

Users can click the “Close” button to dismiss the message; however, they will not be given the option to override the login by the agent and will have to wait until the agent logs off before they can log in to.
