REAL-TIME NEWS
The Real-time news is loaded by default, but can be opened by clicking View > News from the menu bar.
GLOSSARY
Time – date and time of news.
News – The headline of the actual news.
MENU BAR

The Menu Bar provides the following four options:
- Connection:
Users can Login or Logout from the Connection menu. - Settings:
Users can change the Preferences, Look and Feel, Layout and Password under the Settings menu. - View:
Users can select any information panels from the View menu. - Help:
Users can review the CIX Markets system version from the Help menu.
STATUS BAR

The status bar shows the following:
- Current time and date
- Login duration
- Effective margin
- Necessary margin
- Variation margin
- Floating profit/loss
- Balance
- Current margin percentage
- Connection indicator (green indicates a normal connection between the system and the server, while red indicates a connection failure between the system and the server).
LIMIT ORDER PANELS
LIMIT OPEN
Users can review limit open orders by clicking View > Limit Order from the menu bar. The Limit Order panel will show details of all effective limit open tickets.
Please refer to Section 7 for more details on Limit Open Orders.

Under the “Limit Open” tab, users can:
- Click on the “Amend” button to amend a Limit Open order.
- Click on the “Cancel” button to cancel a Limit Open order.
- Click on the
(more details) button to toggle the table view into detail mode.
GLOSSARY
Amend – Click on this button to amend the existing limit open order.
Product – The product of the limit open order.
B/S – This shows whether the existing limit open order was a buy order or a sell order.
Size – The total number of lots in the limit open order.
Limit Price – The limit execution
Stop Price – The stop execution price of the particular limit open order.
Stop Loss – The price for stopping loss of the particular limit open order if the “If
Done” order is executed.
Take Profit – The price for taking profit of the particular limit open if the “If Done” order is executed.
Type – Type of the limit open order (Daily, GTF, GTC).
Status – The status of the limit order.
Cancel – Click on this button to cancel the existing limit open order.
LIMIT OPEN LOG
Users can review the limit open order log by clicking on the “Limit Open Log” tab on the Limit Order Panel.

Under the “Limit Open Log” tab, users can:
- Click on the “From” button to choose the last date of a week to retrieve that week‟s limit open log.
- Click on the “To” button to choose from the last date of a week to retrieve that week‟s limit open log.
GLOSSARY
Ticket No. – The ticket number of the limit settle order.
Create Date/Last Modified – The creation and last modified date of the limit settle order.
Execute Date – The execution date of the limit order.
Product – The product of the limit settle order.
B/S – This shows whether the limit settle order is/was a buy order or a sell order.
Size – The total number of lots in the limit settle order.
Limit Price – The limit execution price of a particular limit settle order.
Stop Price – The stop execution price of a particular limit settle order.
To Settle – This shows the information about a particular opened market order of which the limit settle order applies to.
Type – Type of the limit settle order (Daily, GTF, GTC).
Status/Remark – The status of the limit open order.
Note: The Modified date will only appear if users have amended that limit settle order ticket.
LIMIT SETTLE
Users can review the limit settle orders by clicking on the “Limit Open Log” tab on the Limit Order Panel. Details of the effective limit settle tickets are shown on this panel. Please refer to Section 8 for more details on Limit Settle orders.

Under the “Limit Settle Log” tab, users can either:
- Click on the “From” button to choose the first date of a week to retrieve that week‟s limit settle log.
OR
- Click on the “To” button to choose the last date of a week to retrieve that week’s limit settle log.
