SETTINGS
GENERAL CONFIGURATION
Users can access the General settings panel by clicking on the General tab.

The options include:
- Toolbar: to show or hide the Toolbar on the main window.
- Account Summary Bar: to show or hide the Account Summary Bar on the main window.
In order to make the changes to the general configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The general configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the “Restore Defaults” button.
ADVANCED QUOTE CONFIGURATION
Users can access the Advanced Quote settings panel by clicking on the Advanced Quote tab.

The options include:
- Confirm Setting: choose to show or not to show the Confirm Box when making an order on the Advanced Quote panel.
- Reply Dialogue Setting: choose to show or not to show a Reply Dialogue when making an order on the Advanced Quote panel.
- Font: choose the font, font style and font size of the text displayed in the Advanced Quote panel.
In order to make the changes to the advanced quote configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The advanced quote configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the “Restore Defaults” button.
ORDER ENTRY CONFIGURATION
Users can access the Order Entry settings panel by clicking the on the Order Entry tab.

The options include:
- Lot Size: set a default Lot Size for making orders.
- Order Type: select the pre-set Order Type of limit orders.
- Confirm Setting: choose to show or not to show the Confirm Box when making an order:
– Choosing “Show Confirmation Box” to pop up a confirmation box for all actions performed on the Streamline system.
– Choosing “Don‟t show Confirmation Box” to disable confirmation on any action performed on the Streamline system.
- Reply Dialog Setting: choose to show or not to show a Reply Dialogue when making an order:
– Choosing “Show all reply” to display all system reply messages.
– Choosing “Don‟t show successful reply” to only display system reply messages for unsuccessful orders.
– Choosing “Don‟t show all reply” to disable all system reply messages.
In order to make the changes to the order entry configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The order entry configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the
“Restore Defaults” button.
CHART CONFIGURATION
Users can access the Chart settings panel by clicking on the Chart tab.

The options include:
Look and Feel: choose the colour theme of the chart:
– Dark: Black background & white text.
– Light: White background & black text.
– Customize Color: Users can select the color of the background, text, axes, etc.
- Menu Mode: choose to show and not to show the menu bar on the chart panel.
– Mode 1: Show the menu bar.
– Mode 2: Hide the menu bar.
- Show: choose whether to show or not to show the Toolbar/Outstanding
Order/Limit Open/Limit Settle on the chart panel.
In order to make the changes to the chart configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The chart configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the “Restore
Defaults” button.
QUOTE CONFIGURATION
Users can access the Quote settings panel by clicking on the Quote tab.

Users can specify the information that is displayed on the Quote panel, allowing the Quote panel to be configured according to users‟ preferences. The options include:
- Product: users can check the boxes of the products that they prefer to be displayed. The products are separated into 3 types: Index, Commodity & Spot, and there is an extra option, “Custom” for users to choose a combination of the different types of products.
Users can click on “Select All” to select all the products, or click “Select None” to clear the selection.
- Column: users can check the boxes of the information columns that they would prefer to be displayed.
Users can click on “Select All” to select all the products, or click “Select None” to clear the selection.
- Font: choose the font, font style and font size of the text displayed in the Quote panel.
In order to make the changes to the quote configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The quote configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the “Restore Defaults” button.
ALTERNATIVELY
Click on the tab that requires changing, then right-click the mouse anywhere on the Quote panel to bring up another quote configuration menu.

The options include:
- Product Config : select the products to be shown in the Quote panel.
- Config: brings up the Confirm and Reply Dialogue settings (see section 2.17.2).
- Font: choose the font, font style and font size of the text displayed in the Quote panel.
NEWS CONFIGURATION
Users can access the news settings panel by clicking on the News tab.

Users can choose the font, font style and font size of the text for the following languages:
- English
- Traditional Chinese (繁體中文)
- Simplified Chinese (简体中文)
In order to make the changes to the news configuration, users must click the “Save” button.
The news configuration can also be reset to the default configuration by clicking the “Restore Defaults” button.
LOOK AND FEEL

LAYOUT
Users can access the layout management menu by clicking Settings > Layout from the menu bar.

The options include:
- Load Layout: load a previously saved layout.
- Recent Layout: select from a list of recently saved layouts.
- Save Layout: save the current layout.
- Save Layout As: save the current layout under a specified file name.
- Save Layout On Exit: auto save the layout on exit.
Note: Both “Load Layout” and “Save Layout” operates on the same default file, so if users would like to save more than one preferred layout settings, users should use the “Save Layout As” function.
ALTERNATIVELY
Users can set the layout of the system by clicking the Default Layout button in the Toolbar.

After clicking the Default Layout button, users will be presenting with 3 layout choices:
- 3 x 2 (top and bottom): clicking this button will arrange the layout into 2 rows; with the Quote, Chart and Closed Position panels in the top row, and the Open Positions and News Panel in the bottom row.
- 3 x 2 (left and right): clicking this button will arrange the layout into 2 columns; with the Quote, Open Positions and Closed Positions panels in the left hand column, and the Chart and News panels in the right hand column.
- 2 x 2: clicking this button will arrange the layout into a 2 by 2 square; with the Quote panel in the top-left, the Open Positions panel in the top-right, the Chart panel in the bottom-left and the News panel in the bottom-right.
Other than just adding panels to the workspace, the panels can be organised in other ways too:
- The panels can be resized by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the edge of the panel and dragging to resize the panel.
- The panel can be maximised to fill the whole workspace by double-clicking on the named tab of the panel.
- The panels can also be organised into tabbed panels by grouping multiple panels together. This can be done by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the named tab of a panel and then dragging the chosen panel on top of the tab of another panel.
Example: Dragging the Quote panel onto the Open Positions panel to group them together as a tabbed panel.
When the panel is dragged on top of a tab from a different panel, the blue box representing the panel will snap to the size of the new panel.

The two panels are now grouped together as one, where users can access them through the tabs at the top of the panel.
